Development of a nanostructured double-layer coated tablet based on polyethylene glycol/gelatin as a platform for hydrophobic molecules delivery

چکیده
The aim of the current study was to develop a nanostructured double-layer for hydrophobic molecules delivery system. developed consisted polyethylene glycol-based polymeric (PEG) followed by gelatin sub coating core containing sodium citrate. composition ratio PEG and amount were optimized using two-level fractional method. nanoparticles characterized AFM FT-IR techniques. size these nano capsules in range 39-76 nm depending on drug loading concentration. effectively loaded into PEG-Gelatin (≈47%). molecules-release characteristics terms controlled-release duration dissolution efficiency examined various media, such as physiological pH (7.4) simulated stomach fluid (3.4). Consequently, system showed gradual release pH, indicating its novelty platform delivery.
